I just got a new client recently, and her problem was that she wanted to get more energy surplus and happiness into her day-to-day life. She felt like she was in a rut. Things weren't quite working at home as she wanted to, and she didn't be— she wasn't as present with her children as she wanted to. And this is a very common thing. It actually happens a lot that people come to me with saying, hey, I'm I don't have energy. I don't have any extra gear to pull on, and I'm not really happy. And what surprises them a lot of time is that the fastest way to get back to their old selves is actually spending more time alone. So my advice is typically something like, find 30 minutes in your day that is just for you. Whether it's sitting on a bench with a coffee observing the world, whether it's lying on a mat listening to a meditation, whether it's going for a walk in the woods, whatever it is, 30 minutes every single day just for you. No screens, no devices, no distractions. The second thing I encourage people to do is to get back to a regular fitness routine. Many people actually lose this as they build their companies or as they build their families. So whether it's buying a few things for some home equipment or figuring out how to do it at home with the stuff you already have, joining a running club, getting a personal trainer if you can afford it for a short period of time, or doing something else that's scheduled so you know Tuesdays and Saturdays, this is when I exercise, or Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, this is when I exercise. And this is different than time for yourself because here you're actually doing something to strengthen your muscles, whereas time for yourself is doing something to strengthen your mind. And then the last thing I talked to her about, and I talked to everybody else about, is spending time with loved ones. Right. So we have a tendency to get away from the people that we really care about and love when we get stressed. We kind of zone in on what's right in front of us and not necessarily look up and see the smiley, happy faces that are in our lives. So by scheduling a fixed activity again with your partner or with a good friend or with your children is something that will show them and show you the importance of the relationship and get you back there. So those are the tips that I give everybody all the time. And for a lot of people, it sounds super simple and easy. First off, it is simple, but it's not easy. And it does require you to commit time to it and commit it in your schedule for it to get done. So if you are finding yourself with a lack of energy, If you're not happy, if you're getting a little bit tense with people around you, those 3 things I'm convinced will make a difference. 30 minutes to yourself every single day, some exercise routine that's scheduled and fixed, whatever it is that you want to do, and then some scheduled fixed time with your partner, your kids, a friend, somebody every single week. If you do those three things, I promise you in a couple of weeks you'll feel better and your mood will change, and you'll see a path back to who you were before. You weren't the one, the the person that you wanted to be. I hope this was helpful. As always, let me know if I should record videos on anything else, and get in touch if you think you might need help.
