If I knew why some startups fail and others don't, I should be a VC investor, right? I should, I should go out and put my money where my mouth is. But I think that the number one reason that some companies succeed and others don't is they're good at not dying, right? And what that means is when they're in situations that everything looks so dire, you know, there's no money left, the customers are running for the hills, you're hit with some regulatory issue, everything is terrible. They keep going, right? They'd say, we fight for another day, we can do this, and they keep pushing. So the companies that succeed are the ones that are good at not dying. It's the ones that are determined to give it another shot, to live another day. And at the end, that is often what actually makes the difference. So I think if you, if you, if you look at a company today or if you look at a founder, Assess them on that metric, saying, is this person good at not dying? And if the answer is yes, they're probably going to succeed.
