Founders make three delegation mistakes: not outsourcing enough, delegating tasks instead of outcomes, and skipping follow-up. The result is work that doesn't hit the mark and responsibilities that slip through the cracks.

Well, I think number one they get wrong is they don't delegate enough. If you look at your to-do list right now, there will be a ton of things that you can outsource, delegate to somebody else. Number 2, they don't delegate outcomes, they delegate tasks. And so when the task is completed, doesn't necessarily mean you're getting the outcome that you want to do. So as a founder, you should delegate outcomes and not tasks. And then thirdly, They don't follow up, right? So they hand over something to somebody and they don't keep tabs on how things are going and follow up with them because life gets busy. And as a result, a lot of things fall through the cracks.
