Carl Rogers said, the good life is a process, not a state of being. It's a direction, not a destination. We often strive to get to some place, get to some end state, whether that's a different job or more financial success or a happy, successful relationship. But the reality is the good life is in actually the process of getting there, in the Enjoying the journey, which I think other people have been saying for years, right? As we go through life, it's about enjoying those small moments that gets us to where we want to be going. And the experiences that we have along the way is part of that process to not get to the good life, but to have the good life.
