Somebody famous said something along the lines of, the secret to success is showing up. I would add, the secret to success is showing up when you say you're going to show up. So this idea that doing what you say you're going to do is what makes you successful. And the reason for that is it makes you trusted. So if you say you're going to do something and you actually do it and you do that consistently, Over time, people will come to know that when Peter says he's going to do this, he will do it. Or when Jane says she's going to show up here and deliver this, she will show up there and deliver that. And those are the things that, in my experience, brings you to a place where people trust you and brings you to opportunity and brings you to succeeding in your career or with your business.
