I've tried to build many difficult things in my life where people were telling me it's impossible, it's never going to happen, who do you think you are? But I carried 2 sentences with me all along. The first one is, there is always a way. There is a way through this. There is a way that I can find out how to navigate. How do I— how can I solve what I'm trying to solve for? And then at times when I had a hard time believing in, in that sentence, I reminded myself the old adage of this too shall pass, right? So whatever I'm going through, whatever was happening, I knew that at some point it was going to be over and I would have gone through to the other side. I may not have succeeded in the way that I wanted to, but certainly the hardship that I was going through was going to have been a moment that passed.
