This is a time when a lot of people are on holiday, and there's always this debate: should you unplug fully, or should you be a little bit connected while you're away? For years, I swore by being a little bit connected. My argument was that if I was connected, I could kind of check in with things, I didn't stress about things, and it was fine. It didn't really affect me. And then 2019, I got sick. If you follow me, you heard the story. And then I started having vacations where I was completely disconnected. And let me tell you, it may not be for everybody, but it was for me. By not being connected at all when you're on holiday, something happens in the brain. You start seeing new connections, you start experiencing the world around you in a completely different way, and when you come back, you have a different perspective and reaction to busyness. You are basically more calm. So if you're on vacation and you're still connected, try not to be and see what happens.
