Stop comparing yourself to others because everyone's circumstances and DNA are different. Instead, reflect on whether your choices match your values, and treat yourself with kindness when they don't.

Stop comparing yourself to others because everyone's circumstances and DNA are different. Instead, reflect on whether your choices match your values, and treat yourself with kindness when they don't.
The next time you're comparing yourself to somebody else's life, show yourself some compassion, right? There is no comparison with others. You are who you are, living the life you're living, in the circumstance that you are in the circumstance. It's literally like comparing apples and oranges. Everybody's from somewhere else. Everybody's doing something differently. Everybody's made different choices in life. Everybody walks in different paths. So stop comparing yourself to others, and when you do, give yourself some compassion. Embrace yourself saying, hey, I made these choices. I'm here because of choices that I made. If I didn't like those choices, maybe I should think about doing something different. But comparing yourself to somebody else is just a fool's errand. There is no comparison. We are all that unique snowflake. Our DNA, everything is unique. So try and remember that the next time you feel like you need to compare yourself to somebody else.
