Alright, in this video we're going to look at the three things that every local service business needs to be successful. So if you're just starting out a business, this is good. If you have a business, you can answer these questions for your business. If you're looking for solutions, I'm going to offer some free solutions and I'm also going to show you some next level paid solutions. So we have our customer journey here and this is the funnel. New customers come into your business, they come out the other side and then you retarget them. So we're going to section this off into new customers and inside of the funnel and returning customers. So new customers, the one thing that you need, every single business needs. This is a Google My business, google.com business. If you don't have one, go to google.com business, click manage. Now you can create one. And it's this thing. When you look on Google for a service in your local area, it's going to show like in this example Detroit, Michigan Detroit Voltage and your reviews. So the next level to this would be to actually have someone who is helping you manage and optimize your Google my business profile. 17% of your ranking on Google is just solely reviews. So coming up with a strategy for reviews. But that is the free thing I would say for new customers. The paid version would be to hire someone to do the local SEO for for you. All right inside of your space here. So when you're free, I highly, highly recommend having some type of a CRM, a client relationship manager. If you're using like Google Calendars or Google or Outlook or something and trying to keep track of all your jobs in there, you gotta have a CRM where you can keep track of all your clients. One, it's going to help you when you level up to the next thing that you have everything clean. But two, it's going to just help you stay so much more organized with your clients. And so a free CRM is HubSpot and they allow you to put free people in there, keep notes on different clients, manage some different things, have some reporting and again it's free. The next level paid thing to this would be a CRM like Service Monster or something. Service Monster is a less expensive, maybe 100, $200. But there's like jobber, there's Housecall Pro, there's obviously Service Titan which is a lot more expensive but something in here to manage all of your clients and disp and that kind of stuff. So new customers come in, they come into your business how are you managing that? And then ultimately how are you retargeting your returning customers? And so another free option is Mailchimp. And Mailchimp gives you 2,000 free tech, 2,000 free emails every single month. And so what you can do is you can take the people out of your HubSpot account, put them into your Mailchimp account, and send them an email every month, a monthly newsletter or hey, right now it's spring, you know, get your whatever cleaned or it's fall, it's time to do your inspections or whatever. And so some type of retargeting and then having them come back into the funnel paid option for this is obviously hiring a digital marketing company to help you get new customers and help you target returning customers, which is what we do. But overall, those are the three things Google my business, get reviews, have some way of keeping track of your clients and managing them, and and then have some way of retargeting your customers as well. And those are the three free options that I would recommend if you're interested in having a company like myself come in and work with you on these strategies. We are obviously a professional organization that works with large service businesses in local areas and we help them implement all these technologies and a bunch more to grow their business.
