Going into 2024, here are seven questions you can ask to grow your business, but also to make sure that you're making progress. So the first one is, what did I change my mind on this year? This is very important to take a look at and say, what was I wrong about? And what actually changed? What created energy? What actually got me going? What drained energy? What held me back? What were the boat anchors? Who or what actually just pulled me down and stuck me down for like a week or two weeks? What did I not do because of fear? This is a very important question for local service businesses, because a lot of times we're scared to do things. What was the greatest hits and misses? What did you hit out of the park and what did you swing and miss? This helps me say, like, okay, I tried this. It didn't work, but at least I tried something. And the last thing is, what did I learn? I try to keep a running tally every single year, and then I look back and say, wow, that was an issue. And then I solved that. Or this has been an ongoing issue that I just can't figure out how to solve. Hopefully this helps. Go crush it.
