2 years ago I got fired by a client yesterday. They referred us to another business that just closed for $70,000. If you are burning bridges when someone leaves, you are missing out on a massive opportunity to treat people right coming in and going out. This is why you should have a proper onboarding process and off boarding process at my company. I believe that if you decide to not work with us then you should have an off boarding process where everything is a smooth transition onto the next person and if we need to leave some of your stuff turned on so that way you can transition, we do it. Why? Because our goal is not to have you shut down your company and today' last day to do this thing. It's because we want you to grow your business, whether that's with us or with someone else. At the end of the day it's going to come back around and in this case it obviously did.
