Create link for customers to Write Google Reviews | Google My Business

In this video we're going to discuss how to send out a text message request for reviews. So reviews are 17% of your Google ranking. And we all know that sending reviews to customers or having them review us is very important. So the first way that we are going to send out a text message review is by using some type of automation platform or texting platform. And aside from using a standard phone, a lot of times local service businesses use a tool, whether it's Flashlight, which is our tool, or another tool like Podium or Review Buzz or Birdeye or these types of platforms that allow you to send out automated texts for review links. Ours does a lot more than just reviews, but one way to do this is simply clicking Send sms, selecting your template, which is review request, and then going in and plugging this in and automatically sending it. So just like this one way to do this, more of a manual process. There's two ways that I'm going to share with you is first connecting to a platform like Zapier, which this allows you to have some type of API on one side and API on the other side. It's pretty easy actually to use, but what you would do is like add all of the people that you completed work for into a Google Sheet, for example, and then on the other side integrate with a platform like Twilio or Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign or something else and to send out a text or an email blast. So when someone gets added to this Google Sheet, Zapier tells it to automatically send out this email or text. So this is a pretty good automated way. The other way that we found is by sending out something like this with a QR code. And what you can do is have these printed up and use the code for your Google My Business Review or Google Business Profile review link and turn it into a QR code like this and have these printed and have your technicians hand these out after service and say, hey, can you give us a Google review? They scan the QR code and leave you a Google review. So those are a couple ways to help kind of automate the process. Use a platform like what we have here that you can easily just send this out. You can even quickly send out a name, you know, fill and then put in a phone number quickly and just send it out or a little bit more on your end, you know, create some integrations with Zapier between Google Sheets or between maybe your CRM and something else, or do some old fashioned stuff with QR codes. So hope this helps. If this video is something you're interested in. Or if you want to set up a demo for Flashlight, I'll put a link down below.
