Everybody has a process. Most don't have it documented. If you want predictability, you have to develop a process. You have to document that. We first started with the client journey. What can that person expect when they call our office, when they submit a web form, when they send a text message? What's going to happen then? How do we confirm an appointment? How do we call ahead to let them know that the sales rep is on the way or I'm on the way? What questions do we ask leading up to that to build rapport? Do we send a video? These are all evolutions in the process. You know, where do we park? How do we set the agenda? How do we run this sales call? So basically, we documented every part of the journey. Do we agree to move forward? Do we create an estimate? If yes, here's what we do. If no, do we offer a referral and then we set the next steps. What's our follow up process? If you follow that process, it's going to lead to some predictability, some predictable results.
