You run an air duct cleaning company and you're looking to run Google Ads for your business. In this video, I'm going to break down exactly what you need to know and how you can convert the most leads for your Google Ads. My name is so Risher. I actually used to be the director of business development for a multimillion dollar air duct cleaning company, one of the largest in the country. And these are the strategies that we implemented in their business. We still work with them to this day and other air duct cleaning companies across the country that are doing seven figures scaling to eight figures. And these are the strategies that they use that I'm going to share with you today. All right, so let's get right into this video. So when we look at Google Ads, there are two sections for Google Ads in the US at least. There's Google local service ads, this section here. And then there's Google search ads, these sections here. So what the first thing I always tell people is go to Google and type in air duct cleaning in your target service area. And this could even be the city that you're located in or the biggest metropolitan area around you. And what you want to do you're going to see right here is these are Google local service ads. Google LSA you would hear them called, and Google search ads. So what are Google LSAs? So Google LSAs are pay per lead. What that means is if someone clicks this button right here, then you're going to be shown if someone, then they're going to contact you and then it's going to turn into a lead. If someone clicks this button right here, they're going to contact you, it's going to turn into a lead. So these are pay per lead. So how can you figure out how much these cost? And I'll put this link down below. Over here there's a Google LSA calculator. And what you do is you go down here and you put in your zip code. So let's just say 20874, let's say you want one lead and then they don't have an air duct cleaning category. So you have to do H Vac and then on the back end of H Vac you can select air duct cleaning, dryer, bin cleaning, and obviously all the other stuff you can turn off. So this is basically saying that in this zip code it's 25 to 38 dollars per lead. So what that means is if you turn this on, click right here, that's when you're going to be shown and that's when you're going to pay 25 to $38 per lead. The big part to this is having enough Google reviews. If you're just starting out and you have 0 reviews, you're not going to be shown here. So it doesn't really work. So this is the first thing when it comes to Google Ads. The second thing is Google search ads. And a lot of times this is the black hole or the black box where people just spend a ton of money. Hopefully you get some leads, who knows it drives quote, unquote traffic to your website. Who knows if it turns to lead? So I'm going to walk you through a good process. If you're running these Google search ads. So what does the process look like? So you set up Google search ads, you go to Google AdWords, you put in the keywords you want to show for in the locations. This would be like air duct cleaning. And then you put the location as same same thing. These main cities. Then what's going to happen is it's going to bid on keywords you're going to be showing. You're going to have a cost per click. And when you get that, when you get a click, they go to your website or they, if you have a call now button here, they call you. All right, so what are the main things? The biggest issues that we see when it comes to running these Google search ads is that when someone goes to your website, you don't know what your conversion rate is. What that means is that if you get 100 people to your website, you're not converting them into a lead at 10% or 20%. A good air duct cleaning conversion rate is 20%. So how can you figure this out? You could use Google Analytics or you could use this tool called SpyFu. Again, I'll put this down below. You basically put in the URL of your website. You go over here, you put this in, you click search, and then it's going to show you. Okay, great. So we have 235 estimated monthly SEO clicks. What that means is that we should be converting 10 or 20%. Again, a good number is 20%. So you should be getting 40 to 50 leads from your website just from SEO alone. Then when you start running ads, you, you know how many clicks you get to your website because it tells you on Google AdWords. So presumably you could figure out, okay, my website's converting at 10 or 20%. You get the point. Now how can you convert your website better? I'm going to show you what you should do from Google Ads perspective. All right, so you set up your Google search ads, you drive traffic to your website. When they land on your website, you need to do a couple things. What we do and what we recommend is to set up what's called a landing page like this. This landing page has a call now button. If you notice there's no other headers at the top. The reason this is important is because a lot of times people just want to go here and contact you. They want to either call now or they want to fill out a form. So what we do is we put a tracking number here. We also create a custom form here. So that way we know if they call this number or they fill out this form that is from Google Ads because they landed on this page specifically. So this is a simple landing page layout that you could have. Then you could tell a little bit about your business. They have a really good Instagram following this company. This is not even duck cleaning company, but I just picked this one because it looks nice. So they have an Instagram feed, they have some reviews. You get the point. Now, for duct cleaning, there's a very unique thing that I'm about to show you that a lot of times people miss this. Anytime someone comes to a website for duckling company, they want to know two things. When can you do it and how much is it going to cost? How much it's going to cost is usually the most important one. So what we recommend doing is having a simple estimate calculator like this. The reason this is important is because people can come here, they can say, I want residential duct cleaning square feet, under a thousand 1H vac system, put in their information, click get estimate. Our system and calculator actually gives them a range that says, hey, for one system under, under a thousand square feet, it's going to be X to Y. But even if you don't have this, at least you can put this in and say, you know, get an estimate or quick estimate form and then you'll get the basic information and then you can just call them and give them an estimate. The reason this is so important, again, people want to know, when can you do it? How much is going to cost? How much is it going to cost is the most important. I'm sure you get calls all the time. How much does it cost to do duckling? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So if you take this estimate calculator, put it on a landing page, have a custom phone number and have a custom form that's just for Google Ads, you can really Draw a return on investment and return on ad spend from your Google Ads. So let's review real quick. Google local service ads we talked about. These are pay per lead model. You need to have reviews to be shown here. Google search ads, this is pay per click model, which means you're bidding on these keywords. People are going to your website. But just because they go to your website doesn't mean they're converting into leads. So you have to make sure that you're converting. One pro tip on this is that in Google Ads, you can set up a conversion. What a conversion is, is when someone clicks to call this button or clicks or fills out this form in Google Ad, it registers as a conversion. And then you can go to your Google Ads account and you can see your cost per conversion. This is your cost per lead, which is the number one thing that you should know. If you have a marketing company that's running Google Ads for you and you don't know your cost per conversion, you don't know your cost per lead, so then what are you even doing Google Ads for? Because you don't even know how much you're spending for leads. So you got to know your cost per conversion. If you need help with this or you don't know what to do, we do free marketing audits.
