Phil Risher got fired and started Flash Consulting, named by his former boss who also sent him his first two clients. He grew his first client from $3 million to $4 million in a year, and his ex-boss's company went from $4 million to $5 million before selling to private equity.
My boss fired me, pushed me into my own company, and then named the company. He named it Flash Consulting with a PH because my name is Phil and my wife's name is Ashley, but I call her Ash. So he said, Phil and Ash, Flash, go do the thing. He also introduced me to my first 2 clients and he became my 3rd client. And he said, you're gonna go help people grow their business. You took my business from $3 million to $4 million in 1 year. Now go help other people do that as well. And he doesn't own any piece of my business or anything. He's just a really good dude. And guess what? His business ended up going from $4 million to $5 million and then selling to private equity, and he got a bunch of money. So we all won. This is what happens when you do good for people. Whole squad eats, baby.
