Phil Risher reports a Google bug suspending Business Profiles and deleting reviews. Clients lost 20-30 reviews each. Suspended accounts typically get restored in 24-48 hours if you request a review, but keep building a backlog of legitimate reviews since Google regularly removes ones it flags as non-credible.

If you have had Google reviews missing or your Google my business account has been suspended, there is a Google bug out right now. Google is working on fixing it, but we've had clients lose 20, 30 reviews. We've had accounts suspended. And what you need to know is that you need to be on top of it. If your Google business account is suspended, what you can do is go into your suspended account and you can ask for a review of the suspension. And typically within 24 to 48 hours, you, you should be clear. The other thing, if you've lost Google reviews, Google hopefully will be giving those back to you if they're credible reviews. But this is why it's so important to continue the backlog of reviews. Because Google is going to go through, they go through all the time, every couple quarters, every couple months, they go through and scrape people's Google reviews for ones that they think are not legit. And these are ones that might not have words in it, or there might be words that don't make sense to the business, whatever Google deems. And so if your account suspended, if you lost reviews, you're not alone, but you can definitely get your account back from suspension and you should continue to get Google reviews.
