You don't fire a marketing agency because one campaign failed. You fire them because no one is being held accountable for the performance of that campaign. You probably felt this before. You work with a marketing company and it's a flop and it doesn't work. And then you feel like no one cares and you're just paying for an output opposed to an outcome. And you fire the people and say, OK, I'm done with this. At my home service business, I felt the exact same way. I would be emailing a support@ email trying to get them to make website edits. And I was trying to tell them, hey, we should add this to the website and do this stuff. And I was pretty much— Doing their job for them, thinking ahead and doing all this stuff. And then they would be adding things that I told them to do. And like, I was paying them to do this, but for whatever reason, they were not being held accountable for actual outcomes. If you feel this way, here's what I would recommend. You, one, need to have a heart-to-heart with them that says, I can't be the one that's telling you what to do. I hired you to do the stuff and tell me what to do. 2, work with a different company. There are companies out there that don't have a support@ email, that you actually get someone's cell phone that you can communicate with whenever you want. Who actually is pulling data from your CRM and using it to make decisions for your business. This is exactly why I built my company, because I was frustrated with all these things too. And if you want to see how we do things a little different, comment marketing below and I'll get in touch with you.
