Phil Risher advises businesses to create localized marketing content by repurposing Google reviews into social media posts, blog posts, or case studies. He argues this builds local social proof—showing prospective buyers that nearby customers chose the business—and improves local SEO because indexed, localized content signals to Google that the business serves that area.

How can you create localized content to market your business? The best strategy that we found for this is by taking Google reviews from people that have left reviews on your business and turning them into social media posts and blog posts or case studies. The reason that this is so important is because it gives prospective buyers the ability to see other local people in their city, town, neighborhood, state, whatever, that these people have chosen to work with your business so maybe you're okay and that they should trust you as well. The other thing that's really important is from a search engine optimization perspective is that when you have a localized content like a case study, let's say you do roofing and you do roofing in this city, for example, that content piece on Google does really good for search engine optimization. Also, when you post on social media, Google indexes all your content. So it gives Google another trigger that you do service this service in this area. So that's a good strategy to create some localized content to help market your business.
