Phil Risher walks through a follow-up sequence that closes more jobs from inbound leads. Send a first message day one, share something useful day three, ask if they've decided day seven. Most customers decide within 5-7 days, so automation catches the ones you'd otherwise lose.

Here's a simple way to close more jobs. If you're like most businesses, you get a form or a lead from online or someone calls in, they have a question, do you do the service? How much does this cost? You tell them and then they're gone forever. They say, I'm going to call you back or whatever. If it's a form, you print it out. Maybe you stick it on your desk or it's just in your email inbox or something like that. What you can do is take down the customer's information, whether it's a phone number or an email and, or an email address and, and you can add them into an email sequence or a text sequence or any other follow up sequence. And you can use a simple tool like mailchimp or Google Sheet or anything to follow up with your customers automatically. And you can do something like this after one day you say, hey, this is Phil from Flash Consulting. Just wanted to follow up and see if you had any other questions. Day three, if they don't respond, you can send them, hey, here's a cool resource that you might like. Day seven, you ask them, did they make a decision yet? Is there any other questions that they have? And you build the system so that automatically follows up with your leads because most people are going to close in five to seven days.
