Here's why home service business owners hate marketing companies. Number one, every time I used to talk to my marketing company when I was at a home service business trying to grow, they would tell me spend more on ads when I said I was slow or I needed to get leads. And I would ask them, well, how do I know that those ads dollars are going to turn into revenue for my business? And they wouldn't know. So the reason that we hate marketing companies is because they don't track our return on ad spend. And every time we talk to them, they say spend more on ads. Number two, when I wanted to change something on my website or I wanted to do something, I had to email support email and wait seven days for anything to happen. And usually I had to follow up with them to see what was going on. It was very annoying to me because I didn't have a point person that could say, well, that's a good idea, but maybe we should do this, or someone that actually was proactive about coming up with those ideas. Number three, it felt like we were having the exact same conversation every single month. Whenever we met, it would go through some random numbers on our Google Ads. Everything would look really good on paper. And then they would ask me, how are we looking on our end? And they wouldn't know anything about my business aside from looking. Let's just get through this call so that way we can get another subscription payment next month. If you don't like marketing companies and you're burnt out on marketing companies, I was too. Which is why I built a consulting company that bridges the gap between home service businesses, good digital marketing, CRM, data and automation. If you want to see what we do, set up a meeting.
