We closed a $20,000 job without any ad spend, and here's exactly what we did. First, we pulled a list of all the complementary services. So this was a remodeling company, so we pulled a list of all the interior designers in the local area. Then we sent them an email, and in the subject line we put partnership, and we said, hey interior designer, we came across your website looking for an interior designer to partner with in the local area. Wanted to see if we could get on a quick call to learn about your business. The interior designer replied to that email, and the business owner set up a call with them. On that call, they pitched them on their partner program. Which is when you send us customers, we'll give you referral money and we can work together and be your go-to remodeling company. On that call, the interior designer said, "Hey, I actually have a project I'm working on right now. Can you come over and take a look on this project?" And that turned into a $20,000 job. Now, one piece of secret sauce on this is take all those referral partners and put them into an email newsletter. So send a monthly or quarterly newsletter staying top of mind and reminding them of the partner program that you have built so that they can send you customers.
