Phil Risher shows how a $2 million lighting business switched from Meta ads ($20-30 leads, 7x return) to Google Search ads ($120-130 leads, 27x return). Twelve Google leads in month one generated $40,000 in revenue. High-intent beats volume.

We have a $2 million exterior lighting company. They do landscape lighting, Christmas lights, that kind of stuff. They were running Meta ads, so they're spending a couple thousand dollars on Meta ads, getting a 7x return. Not bad. We'll continue to do it. The problem is that their salespeople were getting burned out on cheap leads. They were spending $20, $30 a lead, and they're having high turnover on their leads. So we said, well, why don't we go into the funnel a little bit more for intent and go down the funnel to Google ads? So we took $1,500 and we said, let's start running Google ads. The first month they got 12 leads, $1,500. So like $120, $130 leads, but they went 27x return. So they spent $1,500 and they made $40,000. This was just by coaching them. You can run Meta ads and get cheap leads all day, but as you go down the funnel, if you get Google ads that is high-intent searches and you have a great sales process and a great service, they're gonna be better for you. Ultimately, they made way more money by taking our recommendation and going from Meta ads to Google ads.
