If you're looking at ways to automate your local marketing, in this video, I'm going to go through strategies to help you automate processes and systems in your business to do local marketing. I know that people say they do marketing and then it fades out. And so hopefully with this video, we're going to show you some real strategies that will help you expedite the process of marketing, but also get you real tangible results. My name is Ho Rishir. I'm the owner of Flash Consulting. We work with local service businesses and we help them increase their sales and keep their schedules full. And, and on this channel we talk about digital marketing for local service businesses. So let's get right into this. I actually did a blog post which I'll put a link down below and it walks through some of these things and people were asking like, hey, could you make a video and really show us how to do it? And so that's what this video is. But I'm going to be using this as a tool to kind of go through and talk about the different strategies that we have. And so I'll put the link down below. If you want to check out the article, you can. But the first thing that we want to look at is how do we streamline our email marketing. And so a lot of businesses that we talk to over in this retargeting section, they know that they should be sending out some type of an email newsletter or email campaign. And so what we like to do is try to come up with a system so that we can plug in four parts to every single newsletter. And so those four parts are we want a recent blog post or social media post. We, we want some type of a third party article or another relevant content piece to their service. We want to highlight another service that they offer. And then we also want to share some type of a recent customer review with a picture. And so those are really the four things. So to give you an idea, if you're a carpet cleaning company, it's going to look like this, a blog post, something relevant, a third party something. Did you know that we do this? And then something review related. So we have a newsletter at Flash and basically what we do is we pull in a recent article that we did, a recent video that we did, some simple call to actions. Then we have a recent social media post that we did, some call to actions and then something relevant here with a call to action. And so we could include a recent customer review if we wanted to. But essentially that's what it is. Article Video, social media post and then schedule a meeting or some type of call to action inside of that. And so you can see that this, Our newsletter gets 50, 60% open rates because it's good content and people are interested in it. And so it's the same thing. So when you look at building some type of an automation inside of your business, it's coming up with a framework like this where literally you have something like this. You can use mailchimp or whatever you want to use for email and you just have a template and you just plug this in, plug this in, plug this in. Now if you're not creating content like this, you can just pull in third party content. So it's very easy to go to Google and search for carpet cleaning near me or whatever, carpet cleaning and allergies or whatever is timely and you can just pull in those articles in here. You don't even have to have it necessarily relevant. You could say it's the right now it's summertime, so you could say 10 beaches near us that you should check out just content that you're sharing with customers that's fun, relevant, that kind of stuff. All right. And then people always ask, well, how do I get pictures? What, what do I actually pull in this social media content? I have to make this and do all this stuff. So what we recommend is using what's called ugc, which is user generated content. And the way that we would recommend doing this is to have people send or text pictures. In a lot of times with service businesses, when you go to your reviews, people are posting pictures on the reviews and Google's pulling in the most relevant. If you just go to that tab, any review that has pictures with it, it's going to be there for you and it's of your company. So it makes it very, very simple to pull before and after pictures or pictures straight from your Google reviews. And again, this is UGC user generated content. The other thing that you can do is you can take this content and you can take this review and you can say, hey, this person said some really great stuff about us. You can use this in social media posts, you can use this in your monthly newsletter. You can create case studies off of this content because this is real world information from your customers that you don't have to come up with. It's them saying this. And so what we typically do is you can go to use a tool like Canva and you can just say review social post and then it's going to give you all these templates for Reviews. So like you could take this review and put this here. And then now you have a social media post and then you can go to Canva and you can say social post highlighting service. Then you can pull in a social media post like this and you can highlight a service that you offer with before and after pictures or something, right? There's a bunch of different things on here. And these are all customizable home plumbing service, right? You can take this and you can change this and put a picture that that person put up. You can also just put simple before and after pictures. So makes it really easy. The other thing that we do is case studies. So people, they'll see a case study like this and it looks really professional and clean. And basically what we do is we have a template which is where was the customer located? This is obviously great for search engine optimization. What problem was this, customer experience, what unique solution did we offer and what was the outcome? And you can create something like this, but more importantly, you can create a blog post or case study for your website. Now all you have to do is just pull in this information. You can ask your salespeople, you can ask your customer service representatives, or you can just create this yourself. And you can have a basic framework that looks like this. And again, you can go to Canva and you can just say case study ghost and they're going to give you templates for your case study right here. So you can see like this one, you can just plug in different stuff and put stuff in here based off of what you have. So as you can see, it's more about just building your standard operating procedures and you can do this type of thing. You know, it could take you an hour, maybe a week, two hours a week once you get your processes down. And essentially what we want to be hitting is okay for your organic SEO, those case studies are really good for local search because it pulls in your target keywords. For social media posting, you have user generated content now because you're getting reviews and then hopefully they're coming through your conversion cycle. And then on the retargeting side, you have a monthly newsletter template that you're using. You're posting on social media, asking them to come back and then you're bringing them back into the funnel. And that's hitting some of these core areas that a lot of times people fall short and have issues with. So I hope this video is helpful, more tangible of how you can do things and automate some of your marketing processes.
