Things are only good or bad by comparison. If you're going to scale your company, you cannot leave the most important function of your company to an outside recruiter. Even if they know your company well, they're never going to sell the vision like you do. They're never going to know the inside story like you do. It's just an impossibility. Their objective is sort of at cross purposes. They get paid when they put a human in the seat. You don't get paid until that human shows up and excels at the highest level. They're two different things. Secondly, if you're going to scale, that's a really expensive model. On the other side, you can't just leave it to a handful of people in inside a home service company to really know who they're looking for because they don't have that level of experience. It's limited to the few hundred people that they've done. If you wait until you're ready to scale, it's too late. You can't develop the skill level of doing that.
