A home service business owner told us this last week and it told us everything. They have been working with their marketing company for 10 years and they were stuck in revenue at $1.2 million for 10 years. Didn't evaluate that this isn't working or this is working. I understand having loyalty to agencies, but if you're not getting the results, if you're not seeing growth, if you don't like working with them, if you don't see an increase in leads and estimates and you want to grow your business, 10 years is a long time to give someone what I would recommend. Whatever agreement that you have or partnership that you decide to do is give someone six months. Six months allows you to analyze is working or is it not working? It allows them to get up and running with their entire playbook. So if you have been working with someone for years and you are frustrated with the performance, then one, tell them two, maybe evaluate is what they're doing actually helping you. And three, maybe it's an internal problem. Maybe you're not showing up as their best client and you can't execute on everything that they're asking you to do. Whatever it is you need to make a change if you really want to grow your business.
