A multimillion-dollar home-service business was using five different CRM tools. Phil Risher says once you hit seven figures, you can't manage marketing, technology, and CRM yourself. You need someone to integrate everything and actually track what's working.

Last week I was on a call with a multimillion dollar business and they have five or six different technologies in a CRM. One of the owners, it's a husband and wife team, is like the marketing head. The problem is it's a little all over the place. The technology stack is over here, the CRM is over here, and then the marketing ideas is over here. And there's not a centralized person to bring it all together to make it operate functionally. More specifically with return on ad spend tracking, making sure that the technology is talking to the CRM, the marketing person is talking back to the CRM and the technology. This is why there needs to be some type of a cohesive plan. Once you scale past seven figures, the business owner can' be the one that's doing all of these things. You need to look at having an outside company come in to help you understand is your marketing working? How can you make sure that your marketing is talking to your CRM? How can you make sure your CRM is talking to your technology and then your technology is funneling back into your marketing and all the data and everything's working together? This is the problem that most businesses face. The lesson here is that if you're trying to scale and be the marketing officer and the chief technology officer and the CRM guru while building a seven and eight figure home service business, you're going to feel like it's chaos. That's why you need to work with a company like ours that's going to help you bridge the gap and make sure everything's working together.
