Most home service businesses lose prospects after sending estimates because they don't follow up systematically. An HVAC contractor increased their close rate from 47% to 52% with a 14-day nurture sequence of texts and emails, adding roughly $200,000 in annual revenue.

In my home service business, we'd send out estimates and then hopefully the Jobber automation would do like 2 or 3 follow-ups with these people, and then we would rely on our salespeople to follow up with them, and then they would be gone forever. So what we had to do was we had to build an estimate nurture sequence, which was when we send an estimate to someone, we need to text them and email them and nurture this estimate for 21 days so that way we can close more deals. We have tons and tons of case studies on this, but one in particular, HVAC contractor, he was closing 47%. We set up an estimate nurture sequence for 14 days. He went from 47% to 52%, so a 5% close rate increase. Each of his estimates that he closed for $7,000 on average. He closed 3 more per month, so $21,000. So he generated close to $200,000 in additional revenue just by this one playbook inside of the conversion funnel.
