Right. In this video, we're going to do a marketing plan for air duct cleaning companies. And before I get into it, my background, I was a director of business development at one of the largest air duct cleaning companies in the country. So I know business development and digital marketing for duct cleaning companies like the back of my hand. And so I'm going to roll out a simple marketing plan that you can implement in your business. This is whether you're starting out or if you're scaling your business, you know, million to $10 million duck cleaning company. These are strategies that you can utilize in your business. So the core pieces that we use at Flash Consulting is visibility, conversions and retargeting. And so in each one of these, I'm going to go through some areas of opportunity for duct cleaning companies and ways that you can implement these strategies in your business. So visibility is typically, when it comes to duct cleaning, this is going to be the most important one. And the reason is because it's new customers coming into your database, which is with duct cleaning, it's not like people get their carpets cleaned every six months, right? It's like every three to five years, someone's going to get their air ducts clean. So you're going to need a consistent flow of new customers. And so there are several ways that you can do this. If you're just starting out, I would recommend getting into Facebook groups, into your local groups, and offering specials to local, very, very local communities. If you're bigger and you have, you know a couple routes on the road, what you want to do is build out a professional marketing plan. So this is something that we do for our clients. But to give you some examples, you want to a local SEO, so you want to have a Google business profile with reviews on it. Because most people don't know duck cleaning companies, so they go to Google and say, good duck cleaning company near me. And then we want you to show up. So when, when they do search those keywords, Google actually tells us what they rank off of. So your Google business profile, which is formally your Google My business, 17% of your ranking is reviews. So the first thing you do is set up your Google business profile. The second thing you should do is get reviews. And the rest of this stuff is extra stuff, you know, post on it, make sure that you get links to your site, all that kind of stuff. But the most important thing you do is get reviews, make sure you post pictures, that kind of stuff on your business profile. The other one, and this is a huge area of opportunity for duct Cleaning companies. And it's this section right here, Business to business. So retargeting or specifically targeting H Vac contractors to refer you for duct cleaning is one of the biggest areas of opportunity to get a consistent lead flow from, from people that are already talking to your target market. So how does this look? Let's say that you build a list of all the H Vac contractors in your area and then you reach out to them and say, hey, I do duct cleaning. If you refer me business, I'll do X, Y and Z. You know, give you a kickback or whatever you want to decide to do. Maybe they just don't do duct cleaning. So now they can offer that service so that they don't go to a competitor, for example. And so this business to business section is a really, really great opportunity to get in front of people that will incentivize them to sell your services. So for example, an H Vac contractor goes out for their fall or spring inspection and they're armed with, hey, have you had your ducks clean recently? It looks like your return is dirty here. And we actually partner with a duck cleaning company and here is the link for that. So there's a bunch of ways to get the lead from that position to your company, but that's a really great way to get visibility for your business. The next part to this whole equation is, okay, you got the visibility, whether it's business to business, SEO, online, direct mail, whatever. Then what happens when they actually contact your business? And this is something that we run into a lot with businesses that they either have a receptionist or one person who's answering all the leads and trying to book the appointments. They typically will have that. But what happens is that person's on the phone and so there's no follow up, there's no way to get a lead in. So obviously there's contact forms on your website, but maybe it's through a chat widget. Maybe for these business to business people, you have a separate form on your website for H Vac contractors that they can fill out. There's a bunch of different ways to convert these leads, but you want to come up with a strategy that's going to be streamlined for your business and be very efficient for the people that you're working with. So one other way that you can convert more leads is this organic search. Someone searching for duckling, they go to your website and most, I would say 70% of the time, the two things that they want to know is how much is it going to cost and when can I get it done. And so if you create a calculator on your website that gives them the price and then gives you their contact information, that's a great way to convert leads. So they want to know the price and when they get it done, so give them the price, but then get something in return, like their contact information. So that is a really good way to get conversions. And then when it comes out the other side, this retargeting section, you want to be sure to ask for reviews because we already looked at, that's a big component for your organic search online. And then these things are really important. So like a monthly newsletter, maybe you don't send this specifically to all of your customers. Maybe you only send this to your referral partners, for example, text marketing. So if you do dryer van cleaning, you should probably have a driver van clean every one to two years. So maybe every year you have a text that goes out to all these people that says, hey, it's time to get your driver vents cleaned. Or you do an email blast every one to two years and you say, if you're interested, you know, you can schedule here some type of online scheduling something. And this is keeping your funnel full, bringing people back into your, your sales funnel, whether it's through retargeting or through new business. And so if you're interested in implementing this in your business and you don't know how to do it, this is what we do at Flash.
