Phil Risher walks through a B2B cold email strategy for remodeling companies: target local interior designers and architects, send a short email with subject line "partnership," then add responders to a monthly newsletter. In one example, seven responses came back, one turned into an immediate bid, and they won the job.

We have this residential remodeling company that we work with on the east coast, and they wanted to broaden the B2B, so they were looking for interior designers to work with architects. What we did was we built a list of all the interior designers and architects in their area, and we sent out three old emails to those people. The first one said, partnership in the subject line that, hey, came across your website looking for a great interior designer to work with. You open for a call to see how we could work together. That email got seven responses. Of those seven responses, one of them said, hey, I actually have a project for you right now that I want to get a bid on. That company went out there and gave them an estimate and got the job. And I'll give you a pro tip. Take all those people that you emailed and then put them into a newsletter. That newsletter will go out monthly or quarterly, and you're staying top of mind. That way, when someone needs you, they say, hey, this is the company. You've been sending them all the products that you've been doing. Now, okay, let me reach out to this company and start working with them all from this cold email.
