Here are three red flags to look for in a digital marketing company. The first one is look up their Google business profile or Google My Business and see if they have reviews. If they don't have Google reviews or they have a couple of Google reviews and no responses, clearly they don't value Google reviews, which for a local service business is crucial. And so that's one thing. The second thing is to look at their website. On their website, do they have a blog section? Are they actually writing content? Are they using their marketing skills to grow their own business using those tools? If they're not, then clearly they may not be marketing their own business. How are they going to market your business? And then the third one is testimonials or case studies. This is really important because if they don't have a track record of people saying good things about them or them actually producing real results that they can document and show you, then they may not be the best fit to help you grow your business.
