A sales leader explains why clear values matter for hiring and team building. Without them, you can't attract the right people or build systems that last.
Build a sales system. Implement a sales system. Implement training and coaching. Learn how to hire good quality people. You can't do any of that without understanding and establishing your core values first. A lot of people think it's kind of gimmicky. You're like, oh, I'll do core value. But no, it's so, so, so important. And this is when we're coaching or consulting with people, and the first things we're going to do is really dive in and help you understand your mission, your vision, and your values. We don't have that. How can you expect to hire really good people that are going to be a part of your organization for a long time if they don't align with your mission, your vision, and your value? If you don't even know what that is, start that.
