Instead, delegate to employees (e.g., an office manager) and have them record their workflows — for example, using Loom to capture how to enter checks into QuickBooks — so recordings can be stored for hiring, replacements, or reference.
You don't have to be the one that creates all the systems and processes in your business. You can have your employees do it. If I have an office manager and let's say one of her responsibilities is to put payments that we receive into QuickBooks, I could just go to my office manager and say, hey, Michelle, can you record. Get on loom and just record the process that you do to put the check into the QuickBooks and record it. Now I have a loom recording that I can just put into a database somewhere and be like, if I need to hire a new office manager, replace she's sick, or whatever. Now I could just say, watch that. And here's how we do checks so it doesn't have to be me doing all that.
