Here's the thing. Not only do we think that they should respect our boundaries, but we think that they should be completely understanding about it. And beyond that, we think they should like it. Isn't that crazy when you stop to think about it? I've already told you that setting a boundary is pretty much some version of telling someone no about something, right? And so none of us like to be told no, right? Even if we know it's reasonable, even if we know maybe it's good for us, we don't like to be told no.
