Like, even if they're openly drinking or using, they're probably not openly drinking or using the entire amount. A lot of people will, for example, drink alcohol in front of their family, and they'll purposely drink a set amount to try to send a message to the family, see, it's fine, I just drank 2, or it's just a glass of wine. But secretly behind the scenes, they're drinking a lot more. And it's kind of like the drinking that's for show, and then the secret behind the scenes. The problem with this secret drinking keeping is it really escalates the whole situation because typically when you're in this kind of cycle, you have alcohol hidden everywhere, like in your car, in the garage, you know, and all these in your closet, all these little hidden places. And so when you're secret drinking, you're sneaking, you have to like chug it down really fast. So like, you know, your partner's head's turned, it's like turn it back, drink it down, and then hide it away.
