Okay, you want to build some confidence easily and quickly? All things considered, do something you would normally do with a group by yourself at least once a week. Take yourself out to lunch, take yourself out to dinner, take yourself out to breakfast, go see a movie by yourself, take yourself to the theater, take a trip by yourself. Maybe that one you won't do once a week, but if you have the time and the budget and the luxury, plan a trip and just travel solo. Go to a café and just people watch. Doing things alone that you would normally do in a group and you'd normally see other people doing in groups will give you a sense of vulnerability at first, but the more you do it, the more that vulnerability will turn into confidence. This also allows you to just be alone and learn more about yourself, your likes and dislikes, your preferences, the things you observe about yourself and your surroundings. We don't want to believe it because we are social beings who need human interaction to survive and thrive, but a little bit of isolation can actually be so good for us. And finally, you need to be able to enjoy your own company first before enjoying the company of anybody else around you. How are you genuinely going to enjoy something like a first date when you can't even sit alone with yourself for 5 minutes? So this is one of the quickest ways to do it. Take yourself out every now and then, build that self-love and that self-trust, and build your confidence one small outing at a time. Cheers!
