Here are 4 alternative greetings to "Hey guys," namely in professional settings. Hi everyone. Welcome team. Hi, thanks for being here. Hi, good to see you all. There's nothing wrong with "Hey guys," but it's a little casual, it's a little informal, and it may not land exactly how you want it to in professional settings. You may also default to "Hey guys" because you were nervous in that moment, you're trying to relate to the other person, you black out, you don't know what to say, so you end up saying something way more casual than what the context of the situation calls for. And you can do better. So I wanted to give you some options to keep in your back pocket. Practice them a little bit, get comfortable using them, and make your intros with confidence and intention rather than using a default just because it's what you've always said or you don't know what to say in that moment. I'm Raele Altano, here to help you with your speaking skills and social confidence. Tell me what else we should add to this list, and stay tuned for another video on some helpful closers too, help you conclude things with confidence and finesse rather than awkwardness and cringe. You got this.
