This is your friendly reminder not to talk negatively about your relationships to someone that you hardly know or when it's completely unprompted. Your spouse, your partner, your friends, your parents, your in laws. Nothing gives away the cracked foundation of a relationship more than one person who's willing to spill the beans way too quickly. For example, you and your friends are deciding where to go out to dinner. Something very mundane. You decide on sushi. And one person takes that opportunity to bash their partner. They say something like, they hate sushi so much, I never have a chance to have it. It's so frustrating. So, yeah, I'm really looking forward to going out to sushi tonight. That shows that there's frustration and some sort of resentment in that relationship, and that's not necessarily wrong. No relationship is perfect, but there's a time and a place and definitely an audience for that information. So be mindful. Do not talk negatively about your relationships at any opportunity that you get. It will say a lot more about you and your relationship status more than the information that you're even sharing. I'm well with Rael, your communication coach, and as always, I hope this was helpful.
