Raele Altano explains why people feel jealous of you: it usually reflects their own sense of lack, not anything wrong with you. The shift is recognizing that resentment says more about them than about you, and staying aware of how your responses to others change over time.

I read a quote recently that said what they hate in you is what's missing in them, and I thought it was so well put in such a simple way. This isn't to say that we should never hold ourselves accountable or justify why someone may not like us. Sometimes two people just don't get along and that's okay. But when feelings or behaviors of jealousy are present and you're sitting there wondering what it is that you're doing wrong or what you should be changing about yourself in order to make that person like you, it usually has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the way that person processes lack. So think about that. We all lack something and some people process that differently than others do. Some people use it as a catalyst to push themselves forward, some simply acknowledge that you have something they don't and aren't bothered by it, and others let it build resentment and hate. The way they process that lack can also change over time, so be mindful of that too small mindset shift that I hope is helpful for you today.
