Raele Altano says stop apologizing for replying to texts after a few minutes or hours. It's low-energy and draining. Just say nothing, or try "I'm just having a chance to see this" instead of "sorry."

You do realize that you don't need to explain yourself or apologize every single time you're a little bit late to respond to a text, right? If you are that person, I'm giving you permission to stop and also giving you some alternatives for things to say if you want that option. Now, we're not talking about going MIA for hours or days at a time or consistently not responding to people. That's a different habit altogether, and maybe I'll address that in another video. I'm talking about the usual time it takes most people to respond to messages, from a few minutes to a few hours. This is very normal behavior and you do not need to feel bad or explain yourself for not responding to a text the minute you get it. So an option is to say nothing and just respond to the conversation like you normally would. Or instead of saying sorry for the late response, it's been a crazy day. You can say, hey, I'm just having a chance to see this, or hey, I'm just having a chance to read through your message. Unnecessary explanations and apologies are so draining for you and so low energy. So start breaking that habit here and you might be more aware of it in other areas of your life too.
