Hi everybody, Randall F. Dean, Email Sanity Expert here. Yeah, you can see I'm super casual and you'll see why in just a second. I got to share with you something funny that happened yesterday as we start this microlearning video. This is so quick that I'm going to share my funny little story too. It's how to change how your time slots show on your Microsoft Outlook calendar. Uh, but here I'm going to stop sharing for a second so you can see me full screen. And I want you to see my t-shirt. Yes, it says, "I like big mutts and I cannot lie." So I go to the UPS store yesterday here in town, ship a package off to my daughter in college wearing this t-shirt. And I go into the UPS store, there's a young Black gentleman working the front counter wearing his nice UPS store shirt and his mask. And he's super deadpan. He goes, sir, uh, can I get your address and contact information please? Yeah, here you go. Uh, sir, can I also get the, uh, address of the person receiving the package? Yes, here you go. And he's typing his stuff in and he's looking over at me a little bit and he goes, sir, I would like to tell you I find your t-shirt highly amusing. Completely deadpan. Now let me tell you this backstory about this shirt. I like big mutts, I cannot lie. I'm a bit of a dog lover and my daughters actually saw this shirt up at one of those t-shirt shops in northern Michigan and let me show you why they got me this shirt. Come here, Riley. Come on, come on. Up, up, up, up, up, up. I like big mutts. And I cannot lie, he's such a big baby. All right, so let's get to the task. Hold on, I'm going to go back to sharing screen. Oh boy, life is good. All right, so here's how you do this super simple tip. I'm going to go into my calendar. Notice it's in the 1-hour standard view on the side screen. But watch this, this is so easy. Let's say you want more details, or just you want to really quickly put a new calendar item on the half hour. Simply come over here, right-click over the time slots, and then you can change it down to 60, 30, 15, 10, 6, 5— most space for details. You even have the option to change time zone right here. But let me show you what 30 minutes looks like because this is a view that a lot of people actually like. Because then you've got a little bit more specificity. And I sometimes, you know, if I get a 30-minute, I'll switch it back and forth. So there's your micro tip. Change your time views if you need to see your calendar with more or less detail, more or less space. Hope you like this one. Let's finish this thing up. And hope you didn't mind my special visitor in today's program. I will Shift-Function-F5 so I can go right into my presentation. Once again, my name is Randy Dean. I normally look like this, but today I had a special reason for sharing with you my t-shirt story.
