Randy Dean sorts a massive pile of loose papers using colored sticky notes to categorize them: Active, File, Trash, Shred, Recycle, Receipts, and To-Read. He applies David Allen's Getting Things Done method to prioritize the Active pile, then files the rest. Weekly 15-30 minute sessions keep the desk clean.
