#Simulation Theory: An Explanation for #Bigfoot #Cryptids #UFO #Ghosts #monsters and more?

Randy Dean explores simulation theory as a possible explanation for paranormal sightings and cryptids like Bigfoot and UFOs. He cites a scientist's observation that information entropy in our universe appears constant or decreasing, suggesting the simulation might be backing up its data. Dean frames it as a playful thought experiment, not a serious claim.

Hi everybody, Randy Dean here. Hey, um, I thought I'd start a new topic channel within my existing YouTube channel called Randy's Random Musings. And the base of this content is stuff I just think about because I travel a lot for my work. And as part of the travel, I have like downtime to both listen to podcasts and, you know, read articles on on different things, and I have a real strong interest in, uh, especially science. Uh, and one that I read recently is about simulation theory. Uh, and if you're not familiar with simulation theory, it basically means that none of this is real and that it is all a simulation that is basically being run on some form of computing system somewhere in the universe. And, and it's not even our universe, it's a different universe. We just happen to be part of a supermassive simulation. Okay, first disclaimer: I'm 99.9% confident that this is the one and true tangible reality. But it's a fun thought experiment. And one of the funny thoughts I had about it— well, first, before I get into the funny thought, there's actually a scientist, information management scientist, that proposes that he has proof. Because he says that, you know, in our universe, entropy occurs. Second law of thermodynamics, you know. But what he found was that information entropy doesn't seem to be occurring. It seems to be holding constant or even reducing a bit. And his premise is that may be proof that they are backing up and archiving the files. Take that for what it's worth. But going back to sort of the fun thought experiment about this, I had a really funny thought. If it is true, it could possibly explain Bigfoot, ghosts, UFOs and aliens, pixies, Cornish Pixies. Apparently there's sightings. The Michigan Dogman. All of these supposed cryptoids. Megalodon sightings. Maybe all of it is sort of true or real because none of it's real. And then it would explain why all the Bigfoot pictures are always so fuzzy. They're blips in the matrix. I mean, effectively, what this is basically saying is that we are part of the matrix. And so those movies from the '90s could be very prescient. And it's sort of fun to think that, like, all of these, you know, things that are, you know, explainable. You know, things like Bigfoot and UFOs and ghosts, uh, all of these things are potentially either A, errors in the code, or B, um, the person doing the coding has a sense of humor and likes playing pranks on people. Oh, I'm gonna throw a Bigfoot into this campsite and then make it disappear so nobody can find it, and I'm going to make the picture fuzzy because it's an AI-generated thing. But of course, if simulation theory is correct, we're all AI-generated. "Then use the left lane to take the I-94 east ramp." So maybe that explains all of your favorite cryptids, aliens, and ethereal entities. And it is sort of funny to think that maybe God happens to be a pimple-faced teenage alien who just happens to be really good at code. Chew on that. Would love to see your comments. Let's get back to tangible reality now. Bye!
