In this promotional preview, Randy Dean—known as the Email Sanity Expert with over 15 years of experience teaching time‑management and technology—introduces his "Smartphone Success and Terrific Tablets" e‑learning program. He highlights the common problem that consumers are dazzled by sales hype but miss the true productivity potential of their devices. The program promises to teach learners how to configure essential productivity apps (email, voicemail, calendar, contacts, tasks, notepad, project‑management tools) and integrate them across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace so they sync with desktop environments. Dean also covers turning a phone or tablet into a fully functional remote office, offering distraction‑reduction strategies, and recommending hardware add‑ons such as remote keyboards, wireless hotspots, and power solutions. The curriculum includes practical use‑case guidance for travel, shopping, finance, health, communications (Zoom, Teams, GoTo), and media/entertainment. The video ends with a call to action to enroll via randalldean.com’s e‑learning portal.

Hi everybody, thanks for taking a look at my Smartphone Success and Terrific Tablets program. For those of you that don't know me, I'm Randy Dean, popularly known as the Email Sanity Expert, and I've been leading and teaching programs on time management, related use of technology, email management, and even smartphone and tablet devices now for more than 15 years as a professional speaker and trainer. And what I'd like to do is just Ask you a question. Have you ever been at AT&T or Verizon or Best Buy or Costco at the tech counter, the Apple Store, and you run into that super techie, that man or woman behind the counter who knows everything tech, and they, they do this to you? They say, so you won't believe this thing, this thing is amazing, you won't believe everything this is going to be able to do for you. Good luck to you. You go, okay, and you figure out how to download Netflix, Words with Friends, Disney+, Google, and Facebook. And you think, pretty sure I'm missing something here. Pretty sure these things can actually be used to have mobile productivity and get some work done. This is the program that's going to show you how to do just that. So let's talk about what you're going to get. You're going to get basically critical apps for productivity, the ones that you've already been using, but we're going to show you how to get these things set up and easily accessible. Things like email, both work and personal. We're going to talk about voicemail and, um, you know, access to your calendar, access to your contacts, access to your task list and your Notepad, your project management tools. We're going to talk and share tips on integration if you're a Microsoft 365 user and/or if you're using Gmail in the Google suite, and how you can get these things all set up so that they're talking to each other and synchronizing with the computer that you're using at work or at home. We're going to also talk about taking it even one step further and how you can set up your phone and device so that it works truly like its own remote office. Not just a computer, but a fully functional office with all the critical tools that you'll need for true and real mobile productivity. We're going to of course give you also some tips. These, these things aren't distracting at all. Squirrel! We're going to talk about the tips that will help you maintain and reduce distraction while building productivity and give you the capability to quickly and seamlessly move between the tools and functions that you need when you need them. We're also going to give you, uh, some discussion on smart add-ons, you know, things like remote keyboards and, uh, wireless hotspots and all those kinds of tools that are going to allow you to take your productivity even to another level, as well as even tips for how to make sure you don't run out of power when you really need them. And we're going to then finish with a discussion in several critical areas, places like travel and shopping, finance and banking, health and wellness, communications. And we're going to give even specific tips for people that use tools like Zoom or GoTo or Teams. And we'll, of course, talk about media, games, and some of the fun stuff. How can you not? But what's going to happen is you're going to really come out of this with a plan on how to finally use these devices the way they were intended to be used and reduce the inherent distraction that they can cause. So if you're seeing this as part of the online program, fantastic, take a look. I hope you sign up.
