Foreign.

One of my dear, dear friends, friends, he is literally a brother from another mother. Although my mother loves him so very much, she would take him on as her own son if she absolutely could. My dear friend Randy Garn is joining me today on the show in a juicy conversation about relationships and high performance and prosperity and creating a life that you really, really love. You're in for such a treat today. The Randy Garn. My goodness, this man, I love him and his wife and their six kids, kids so much. They have such a full life. He is an incredible man in business. He's an author. His newest book has just been come out called prosper, create the life you really want. He and his dear friend Ethan Willis co authored that great book together. Friend. I'm so excited for that. I'm looking forward to having more people get exposed to that because then I feel like they get to experience you more. So, like I've been able to do so. But he's an incredible speaker, business owner, investor. He helps build businesses run. He helps them grow. He's done so many various things in this world of entrepreneurship. And he's an Harvard MBA grad. He's won the entrepreneur of the year, Ernst and young very prestigious award twice. Not just once, but twice, mind you. But he's one of the most fun, energetic, but solid, loyal people you'll ever meet. So, my friend, thank you for joining me. I know you have a busy, full life, but I just am so, so excited for my tribe to get to know you a little bit better. Some of my tribe already know you well. They already follow you. They fan girl or fanboy you because they just think, oh, my gosh, we just love this guy so much. So thank you for being here, friend.
You're awesome. Seriously, you are. We've known each other, you know, we've known each other for over 18 years now. I can't believe how long it's been. And it's been so fun to watch your career and watch your heart and watch you grow and. And I mean, you are just one. You really don't think anything about yourself. Your whole life is dedicated to help other people. And that's that's when I think of you. That's what I think about.
Well, I think we share that in common. Right. Like, we both are in a similar vibe about that. But yes, I'd known of Randy Garn for quite some time for many years and before we met up probably what, eight, nine years ago in person. And I. But I'd known of you, known of each other. But we actually, yeah. When we met up and had that first meeting that was scheduled, you guys, for 45 minutes into and a half hours later, we're leaving there as best friends. Like, we're going to take on the world together. So I just adore you. So thank you for being here.
And we are taking on the world together.
Let's take on the world together. So, you know, let's talk about one of the things that I just love when I think of you. And you've spoken at several of my events. You're speaking at my upcoming event launch that's on Friday, January 22nd. We're going to talk a lot about clarity and goals. We'll get into that. But one of the things you share about and that you live like Randy, you live this, we have this joke, my friends here in Salt Lake and Utah, all of Utah, not just Salt Lake City, where it's like Randy Garn is the Kevin Bacon in the entrepreneurial world. Right. Like, all roads lead back to Randy Garn. He is so connected. He's so great at relationships. And so this is something that I'd love for you just to speak to. You've talked to it for my private coaching clientele before, but would you be willing to share just a thought or two about the power of relationships, relationship capital, how we need to be thinking about ourselves and our business more with this? Like you're saying, show up to add value and show up in relationship. And I'd love for you to share a little bit about that because you're so good at this.
Yeah, I, I think this can be something that can be taught. I do think that some people do it more naturally than others. But as I've been through my life, what drives the most joy for me are really three things. What drives the most happiness? Because at the end of the day, if we earn a ton of money, but we've scorched earth and have no friends to share it with, we're sitting on a pile of cash at the end of the day and be like, look at me, what I've all I've done, but everybody has zero respect for you. I think there's also a way to do phenomenal in business and bless a lot of lives and change lives and be able to have a rich, deep, meaningful relationship with not just your core group of people, but thousands, if not millions of people. So for me, relationships have always been one of my true norths, is people are more important than things to me.
Yeah. Amen to that. And did someone teach you this concept, my friend, or model it for you? About the power of the way we show up in relationship or the power of relationship?
Yeah, I mean, there. There is actually several people, as I think through my life. One is my father. My father has been probably one of my greatest, greatest examples my life. And he's just been a rock. I mean, I watched him the way that he dealt with people on the ranch. He was a high school football coach for 32 years. And here's what you want to know what he gave me for Christmas? Literally, he's 86 years old, and he found my high school football helmet. He signed it with a really personal, private note and gave me that for my birthday. I mean, gave me that for my Christmas present. Always just thinking about, what are the little things that little things don't mean a lot. Little things mean everything when it comes to relationships. My dad has always been that. I've watched the way he treats others, and I've watched him in times, in different relationships where he could have either taken advantage of somebody or somebody took advantage of him. And he just said, you know what? It's not worth. It's not worth me damaging this relationship. And it does come back tenfold. I do think one person, if I could honor a few people that I've watched and I was on. I've been on their advisory board with Harvey McKay for over 13 years now with a private roundtable that we have. Harvey McKay, he wrote Swim with the Sharks. He's wrote, I think, 13 New York Times bestselling books. Dig your well before you're thirsty, never trust the naked man that offers you your shirt. He's wrote some really good books, but when I was young, I studied him, and then I was on his advisory board. And so I do think that Harvey's been one for me that has helped me understand the value of personal relationships. He had a K66, but it's just the way that he always shows up. He's always giving more than he gets. And he's taught me how to give. To give, not give, to get is one of the things that. That has been most inspiring to me. Of getting to know that amazing human.
I love that. And I really think. You know what? I love the title of your book that's just come out as Prosper. And I think about having a prosperous life and a rich life and a rich life in all the which ways that that word can mean, right? And I think about relationships and having rich relationships and how you've lived that. Is there a thought that you have or a strategy that you do that helps you plug into, you know, how you stay so involved in nourishing relationships? Do you have any things that you practice that help you or have helped you along the way develop that skill or develop that mindset?
I do have, and I'm actually continuing to refine that, you know, and we did. We just. We just wrote the book. We wrote the book Prosper, and we just rereleased it as well. And we wrote about. When we wrote about that, we wrote about the balance. Prosperity is much more than money. It's the balance between money, happiness and Sustainability equals prosperity. And all of the research and all the data that we did, it's like, what do people really feel about. What does this word really mean, the word prosper? And it is. It's a balance. It's living a full life. It's creating the kind of life that you wake up and be fully energized and fully vibrant about. A big piece of that is, can I do it over a long period of time? Do I love the people that I work with in my life? One of my best friends is Ethan Willis, and we co authored a book together. And he's actually been an amazing modeler for me too. Is that in my life, watching him, the way that he runs business and his family and everything else is that he never forgets my birthday. He never forgets. He's really, really good at those kind of things. But some personal tactics that I really think is important to me is I think the older that I got, my circle of friends has actually gotten smaller. I'm talking about my core group of people. Tiffany has actually gotten smaller to a group of people that I love like, and aspire to be with. And. But my influence and my. The value that I can drive to the world has increased, and more people probably know me now. So there's. There is. There's this influence factor, but that's the circle in which I associate my daily things with have become so focused, and that has made all the difference. And so where before I be like, oh, yeah, let's go to dinner. Okay, yeah, let's go that like really can't go to dinner with everybody. And it has to be more strategic. And so I'm going to give you something that is. This is. This is Randy Garn Relationships 101 is that I my then this actually comes from a really good friend of mine. My list on my phone, I have 20 people that are in my speed dial. To make it in that 20 people, you got to be pretty. Pretty amazing and a pretty core group of mine. So who's on your favorites list? You know what I'm saying? Your favorite song. It's like your favorite who's your go to team? Who's your team?
Yeah.
Who do you want to be around? Who energizes you? And I really did. About five years ago, I made a list of the 25 people that I wanted to get to know that I really, really admired. And I strategically made an effort to get to know them, to reach out to them, to see them at an event, to ask them. And I actually did things for them. And they're like, dude, who is this Randy Karn guy? I got to get to know him. You know, I always serve before I sell or you give to give and it comes back. So you know what happened when I did that? I made a strategic list. It was in 2015 of 25 people that I wanted to get to know and I really, really loved now, like 10 of them, 11 of them are incredible friends. And another half of that group, guess what I also found out they're not who they said they were, so. Or our chemistry just wasn't there. And it's like I only live once. And so it's like, who strategically, Tiffany, do you have on your list that you really want to know that really like, really you vibe with? And I really think that that happens in our life. Like, we can't do everything. And the shorter my time gets in life, the more I actually really value my 25 best friends and my 25 closest associates with.
Yeah. So I think it's definitely one of the things is living that with intention. Right. I think we love everyone and we're aware that the how we also discern our time investment. Like, for me, it's everyone I believe is equally lovable and worthy on the planet. Right. I mean, I think in terms of equality, but yet as you're talking about I have my discernment is like driving down the highway. There's different lanes and there's different vibrations of where people are hanging out in different directions those people are going. And it's Like, I want to sync up with people in the high vibe lane, right. And be intentional about that. Close friends, associates, things like that. I just love when you. You show up this way, and. And you're such a phenomenal liver of the experience economy. I know you speak on that. That book and that TED Talk and so forth, and I love how you've modeled that out. But the power of creating experience for people. Will you just highlight that for a second? Not teach the whole thing, but the power of creating experience in your relationships, because that is where you truly create a standout from. You know, you and I have been fly fishing together. We've been to different events together. We've, oh, my gosh, shot guns together. All these things. I did shoot guns, you guys, with Randy Garn in stilettos.
It was awesome for that.
It's like me and, like, 25 men and me and, like, maybe one other woman, but I'm there in stilettos. That was so fun. But you do talk about that for a moment. Is creating memories with people is one of the fastest ways to grow a relationship? Right. I've learned that from you or reinforced that. Learning from you is memory making is one of the fastest ways to go deep and create connection and relationship.
Yeah, I. I am huge on. One of the things when I was in. In college that we. I studied was a gentleman named Joseph Pine iii, and he wrote a book called the Experience Economy. And it really struck me to the core. And I. I am one that I actually love to not just snorkel with people. I love to scuba dive with them, if that makes sense. Like, I'm not. I don't, like, just get. Just get surfacey. It's just like, dude, I want to know who you are, you know, and you're right. I have my core group. But Tiffany, you know, and you know me, like, I love everyone, and I want everyone the best. And at the end of the. At the end of my life, I want people to say, like, Randy was an amazing human. He never, ever, ever took advantage of anyone, ever. And, you know, I think that there's ways to do it where you can have your core, but you can also bless the lives of thousands of hundreds of millions and millions of people. But it's like, one of my big things is never be boring and never be predictable. If you're just like everybody else, nobody's gonna remember you. If you're just like, you know, everybody else, I love it that people are just like, I went to high school with Tiffany Peterson. Like, look at what she's doing. I mean, that's amazing. But if you will just change a few things in your relationships, it can make a massive difference in generating revenue, in developing new partnerships is find out what they really, really love, find out who they are, and find out some of the things that they want to do. So one of the things that I will do is that I have always, always loved fly fishing. My whole life. My dad would take us fishing when we were, you know, two years old, three years old. We were out on the stream, out on the river. And for me, I love water and I love the mountains. Like, I. When I'm in the river, fly fishing, I just flow. And so one of the things that I like to do, I meant it might actually be. It was probably at first a selfish thing, but if I can take somebody and not just take them out to the river, but if I can actually teach them about the fly, what hatch is happening, the depth of the water, the feeding pattern, where the fish at, why the fish are there, and really help them understand that and then help them go personally catch a fish on their own. And then we'll take a picture. I'll take that picture and I'll send them a framed picture of us fishing together. I can't tell you how many CEOs and how many people that I've actually went back to their office and that's the picture in their office out of everything. And you think about that and. But I mean, I'm. That's what I love. But I help them love what I love. But the other thing that you could do is, man, if somebody loves golf, you know, get them a gift certificate for golfing. If somebody loves, you know, if it's a massive, massive client. One of my clients wanted to go heliskiing, and so I have some friends that actually have a Heliski, have a helicopter, and that's what they do. And so we line that up. And did that cost me some investment in that relationship? Yeah. But do we talk about it all the time and are we doing business together? Yes. So it's like, just never be boring, never be predictable. Do a little research on the people that you're. You're wanting to get to know, find out what matters to them, and then make an experience and do something around that.
I love that. And I think one of the things that. So with accessibility today, with social media is we can, you know, check out someone's feed and kind of get a feel for some of their hobbies and their interests. And the things that they're into. And then I think it creates more connection points, right, that you could reach out and connect around. But I'm with you as we've had a lot of fun together over the years. And for my own clients and experiences and friendships and relationships is, you know, you play together, you connect, you make memories, and you create, to your point, experiences that experience economy and what a difference it makes. I have golfed with Randy a few times. The last time we golfed together, though, I mean, not everyone can pull this off, but I may have put a golf ball through a window. Someone's home on the 18th hole. Do you remember that?
I did. I was like, oh, boy, I want to. I was not going to bring it up on this call.
Hey, guys, it takes talent to, like, put a golf ball through someone's home window on the course.
You knock the COVID off that thing.
It's so much fun. I freaking love it. You're like, oh, boy, here we go. Oh, so much fun. See, we just have all these memories and again, this friendship and relationship, and it's like, hey, Randy, regularly, it's like, hey, how can I support you? And vice versa, I regularly show up with that same. Same question and intention. How can I support you? How can we help? And, you know, you just build nourishing relationships, and then you just. You just never know the magic and the connections that come from that. And I'm such a teacher of the relationship business, and you so live it. And I just am so thankful that we're connected. I do want to talk about one other thing. When I think of Randy Garn, I think high performance and high performance habits and all the things that you're up to, and I'd love for you to share. I mean, you're such an energetic. I mean, you are like the energizer bunny. You're just energy all the time. And so would you be willing to pull back, you know, so to speak, the curtain and the behind the scenes of what are some of your high performance habits and things that you're doing that help? You just have this energy. You also have this solid mindset where, I mean, you're regularly just like, solid. Even when the world's being whack, you know, you are just like, hey, cool, we got this, and we're in principles and we're anchored. And I'd love for you to, you know, share what are some of the high performance habits that really, you know, that you live or do or that are up for you right now?
Yeah, I mean, I'll hit. There's. There's six habits in high performance. And Brendan Brendon Burchard is my partner, you know, high performing, High Performing Habits Institute. He's just, he is honestly one of my favorite people on the planet. Like, to know Brendan is to come just to completely love him and those that know him best. His whole life is dedicated to human performance and to self improvement and to personal development. And he's not just become, I mean, a partner. He literally is one of my best friends in what he does. And I've learned so much. I've actually really adopted. And I'll hit three of those. But the very, very first one in his book is to seek clarity. And let me tell you what, what I do, it's to seek clarity is to mean to be very, very just, you know, intentional about your life and to really like we talk about, create the life you really want. One of my big, huge things over the last five years that I committed to was journaling every single night. I used to journal in the morning. That's not my most productive time. And it actually is different for everybody. It depends on what your circadian rhythm is. And so my huge one for the driving, the kind of energy that I have is that I'm actually very, very intentional and very, very deliberate about my day. And I journal every single night. I journal. What. What am I going to accomplish tomorrow and how did I do today? Part of that, Tiffany, part of my regimen in journaling is I will actually during the day, and this is what I'm talking about. Like, sometimes some names will pop into my head. Like, I just got a text from a lady that I didn't know was struggling for some reason. Her name popped into my head last week and I sent her a handwritten note. I will actually part of that during the day in my journal, I'll write down either people's names that come up or I may see something on social media where somebody's done something awesome or struggling and I'll just personally shoot them a text or a video or. Or send them a book or a gift. And so part of my, part of my nightly journaling is for myself, to be clear. But whose life could I bless? Who could I reach out to and just shoot a quick video to or do a quick note? Who could I lift up and build? Because that actually is what makes. Drives energy for me, is if I can serve others, is I actually love doing that. And so journaling in that way has made a massive difference.
Hmm. I Love that. Are there other habits too that you want to elaborate too? You talked about, you know, the power of that clarity and journaling. Anything else that's helped you with your own high performance?
Yeah, I think so. I think journaling has been. Probably starts it off the right way. The other one that has been pretty amazing for me as well has been getting into really good sleep patterns.
Yeah. Amen to that.
I used to. I'm not kidding. Like I used to sleep four hours a night. And I think about my life before to where I am now. And I'm one of the guys that came and spoke to us at an event. Was doctor. Was the sleep doctor. I should remember his name. But he's the sleep doctor. He's done the biggest research on sleep. And Dr. Bruce. Sorry. Dr. Bruce. If you listen to this, you're the man. Dr. Bruce is amazing. And he really said it was actually part of an event we were doing. Is my sleep. Tiffany has been just awesome. I actually got the oura ring. It tracks my sleep, my circadian rhythm. I go to bed. I get in bed at 10:30 every night and I wake up at 5:30. I used to. I was very less productive in. I'm a very strong. So I journal at night and it helps me sleep better because I get all the acid out of my stomach. All the things that I worry about during the day that keep me up. I naturally. He said, why don't you journal at night? I'm like, you know what? I'm going to try. That made all the difference. It's the little things don't mean a lot. Little things mean everything. Right. And then I don't check. And then when I wake up in the morning, I work out first thing. I get everything knocked out physically. And then I do my spiritual study time and then I am ready with my journal of what I'm going to accomplish. And that has been so. A combination of journaling and sleep have been so profound in my life.
Yeah. So much so in that rest and getting up. And then it sounds like a third one you're tucking in there as you have. It sounds clearly like a morning routine, a morning ritual that you start your day with intention. I am such a believer in that habit myself, 100%. Yeah. So you start your day with some exercise, some spiritual time, some review before you like launch into the world. And I think we need that so much so is that we have some anchored, centered, you know, nourishment before we move into interacting with others or scrolling our phone or looking at the news or whatever it might be.
I mean, 100%. Let me in. Here's. Here's where it rolls into, like, seeking clarity. Like, Brendan's high performance journal is awesome. I've got. You know, I really, really love the reason why I have. Everybody's like, dude, I love your energy. I get that all the time. I literally. It's because I've done the small things and the big stones first. I've journaled. That night. I got good rest. I worked out in the morning. I spent time with God. Then I'm ready to tackle the world. I'm very, very clear and intentional. And if you do those things, the second habit is to generate energy. That's why I'm very, very clear, actually, because I have very clear goals. I used to kind of run around and try to help everybody. Now I'm very deliberate with who I can serve. Right? I'm very deliberate with the amount of money that I want to make. I'm very deliberate with the relationship I want to have with my wife. And I plan time for us. Very deliberate on Saturdays and Sundays or complete family time. I mean, 100%. I have dad days. Saturdays are dad days. Like, what do you guys want to do today? Let's go do something fun. Let's go learn a new skill. And so that way, I have so much more energy because I know exactly what I'm going to do every day. I don't have energy. And people run into anxiety, depression, all of those things because they don't have clarity. It actually might not have anything to do. It's because you don't know what you want.
Yeah, that's such a good point. It's coming back to that for sure. Mmm. Clarity, journaling, morning routine, creating your own energy. Juicy stuff, my friend. So let's talk about prosper. This book. Tell me a little bit about prosper, what you're teaching us in this. Because the subtitle, I love it, says, create the life you really want. And so what are we learning and prosper? What will people receive by getting into this great material?
We wrote this, actually, in 2008 and 9. And I can only think about, you know, we had a huge financial crisis, then we had everybody wondering what's going on in the world. We had everybody, you know, thinking the stock market's gonna crash. And I don't. I mean, we lived through that, and now we have everything that's happening 20, 20, 2021. And I can only think the reason why we actually talked about relaunching this Out a year and a half ago not knowing we were going to be in the state. We are so interesting that it's relaunching and we just hit Amazon number one today.
Congrats.
I just have. When you launch a book, Tiffany, you really find out who your friends are. It's interesting. It's just like I can't believe the people that are showing up and just the depth of people are just like, you know, so excited about it. But in our book, you know, in 2000 Ethan and I wrote this and we went up to our cabin up at Sundance and spent tons of time together. It was really, really, really fun to do together with him. But we found, you know, we really have, you know, six, six prosperity practices and they, they really are just so simple and profound. We wanted to make it a simple read. So it's only 180 pages. We want to make it to be a read. We sold a ton in the airports when we did it because we wanted to be able to pick it up in la. When you land in Texas or when you land in New York, you're able to read the whole thing. But it just really has the things that are most important in our life that we ran one of the largest one on one, I mean really one of the largest coaching companies that were out there. And now we're doing a ton of, you know, in the coaching space, in the human performance space. And Ethan runs Ethan's CEO of company called Growth. And they're just phenomenal with what they're, what they're doing and what they're growing. But we really wrote these in a time of uncertainty, just like today. And the number one practice is really kind of locate your Polaris point. You know, what is your, what is your true north? What's your irreducible, what's your immovable things in your life? Have you spent time to do that? And so it goes right around along with that, seeking that clarity.
So I love it, friend. Thank you for this. It's here on my desk. I'm so loving the experience of reading this material and you just put such good content out there. I also love just following you on social media. If you guys don't know him on social yet or follow him yet, you can find him on Facebook or Instagram under Randy Garn. You will. Absolutely. It's just like daily you get fed some good manna of true principles. Leadership, time management, relationships, goals, productivity. All the things I absolutely love that I'm so looking forward to. Randy's going to join Me as a special guest speaker at an event I'm hosting on Friday, January 22nd. You can join in virtually or in person. There's a two week recording access to that. I'm so looking forward to you being there because like you're talking about we're going to spend that whole day focused on clarity, vision, goals and then your 90 day plan to implement that. You can find that@goalsblueprint.com if you're interested. We'll also link that in the show notes if you want more from him in that live. I mean you just always bring it friend to everything that you do. You've brought it here again tonight and I'm so grateful for our friendship and our connection. I'd love to just ask a few other interested questions that I think others might be curious about too. I'd love to know starting out, what is one of your very favorite books that's influenced you?
Oh man, I know that stuff.
Huh?
I mean there is a lot maybe.
Top three then so there's.
I mean my. One of my all time favorites honestly. If you haven't read this, read it and reread it again and reread it again. Is Dale Carnegie how to Win Friends and influence People.
Yeah. Such a good book.
It is amazing and I mean there's so many great nuggets of gold in there that are just huge. The other one is that I just finished was Atomic Habits Come Out.
Do you not love that? I listened to that book a year ago and I'm listening to it right now in this January. I've been in it myself of just coming back to those principles. What do you love the most about that book?
I. I love the most about it is that it actually really, I mean with, with habits. It that's our habits create who we become and I always think about what's the difference between somebody that you know accomplishes. Let's just put it in monetary thing. The difference between a $4 million company, you know, a $40 million company and a 4 billion dollar company is literally that a person's ability to create habits, become a leader and to do bigger things because of the habits that you create around your life. I mean I am all about human performance. My rule stick for me isn't measured in money. It is measured in lives that I change. And so those are the habits I am creating. Although I am blessed beyond all compare, you know, financially. But my measuring stick is how can I bless the lives of as many people as I can with people that I, that I have as a leader. And so in that book, there's some really, really just neat things about habits. On. On what, how you can influence others lives.
I love that. Another question I have for you is when life gets turbulent or you're. You have a discouragement, things don't always because so many people just know you. And I'd love just some real talk, some that like, because I know you as a really close friend. But what would you say, you know, when life gets turbulent or a disappointment or something that's really hurt your heart. How. What's your way of processing that? Or how do you come back home or how do you navigate adversity or challenge when it's up for you?
Well, first off, it's probably. It's really two things for me is that I literally. I literally have the most awesome, awesome wife in the whole world. And so she is one that keeps me grounded. She's so consistent. She's so amazing. Like she, she is so tuned into God that whenever I need anything, she's just like, randy, what's, what's most important in your life? And so I think that I'm. I have a really good. What I call the home court advantage is that I do have a place to go home to where it's a safe place and it's just awesome.
So I love that and I love Char. She's such a great woman.
Yeah. For me, like, we just, we just went on a little trip together and it's like she helps me see things because she's not involved in the business side at all. Like, she really is the. She's the CEO of the home. You know, I'm the CPO at home. I'm the chief party officer at home, and she's the chief party officer.
I can see that 100%.
But I think, I think it's a. I think that having a really good. Whether it's your wife or whether. And then it's also just amazing friends that I can go to and you know, amazing friends like Ethan or Brendan or, you know, other friends that I have that I could call in a second. It's like, who's your network when you're going through those turbulent times? Who's helping you see the paradigm shift that help count your blessings, not your burdens, you know. And then I think for me, the other thing is really, really, you know, I'm a very, very social animal. But a lot of people don't know this about me. I really, really love alone time recharge. I love nothing more than skiing by myself and listening to amazing music and just thinking things through or fishing by myself or going on a really, really hard hike by myself and just talking with God. Yeah, that is my, probably my all time favorite thing to do. Whether it's, you know, I naturally either even road biking. It's like, what are those things that will help me to get into that meditative state and that I can just have an open discussion with my maker and be like, okay, help me here, give me some guidance, you know, and just talk openly with God. That is what drives true joy and happiness in my heart. And I honestly have no fear. I'm gonna make it. I know how to, I know how to make money. I have an amazing family. If things happen, I always know at the end it's my personal relationship with God because at the end of our life, nothing else is really going to matter.
So good. My friend, thank you for sharing a little. Just, you know, again, off script if you will and just from the heart and what's real for you. And I so love that about you. I'm so thankful for you and our friendship. You've blessed me in such big ways and all the people that get to know you and I'm just a big fan. I invite all of you to go find Randy on social media. His website, randygarn.com great resource and you'll want a copy of this book, Prosper. You can find it obviously on Amazon. It will not be hard to find as it's a number one best seller. But Prosper by Randy Garn and Ethan Willis create the life you really want. I love that a lot of what you teach, whether it's related to relationship, related to business, related to family, is you talk about and you're espousing regularly the power of intention, living an intentional life with your habits, with your home, with your business, with relationship. And so thank you for just bringing these rich reminders and these true principles back to us today. It's been such a treat, my friend. Any last thought, quote, idea, inspiration you feel like sharing tonight? Before we wrap up, one last thing.
That comes into my mind is one of my favorite things is just to remember this. If you don't have your own goals, somebody else will use you for theirs. And so take time this year to just get real clear on what you want to accomplish while you're here on this, you know, third rock from the sun on this earth. And you know, I also, you know, do as much as you can for as many people as you can as often as you can without expecting anything in return. And watch what? Watch what will happen in your life.
I'll give a hearty Amen to that. Thank you my friend, for your time. Thanks y' all for joining in and listening to this show. It's been a rich conversation in all the ways that word applies. So thank you so much, Randy, and we'll look forward to connecting with you all soon.
Thanks, Tiffany.
