Hello everyone, this is Rebecca Green for the Winey Palooza podcast, and I am coming here to you in 2024. We are now starting a new year, and I want to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Happy New Year! I hope you're starting the new year off right. I hope you've thought about what is ahead in this year for you, and you've thought about maybe some positive changes you want to make in your life, I would love to hear about them. This past year at Winey Palooza has been nothing short of extraordinary, and it's all thanks to our incredible guests and ever-supportive listeners. I have met so many wonderful women on this 300+ podcast journey. I've interviewed so many women and talked to so many guests and talked to so many listeners. And it's just been an absolutely wonderful experience. We've dived into a number of topics ranging from the joys and challenges of parenting and marriage, the dynamics of family life, and personal growth journeys that inspire all of us. Every single one of my guests has inspired me and taught me something. Each conversation brought new insights and perspectives, enriching our community in ways I never imagined. Your engagement, your stories, and your feedback have been the heartbeat of this podcast. Looking ahead, I am so thrilled about the upcoming year. We've got some exciting topics lined up, more inspiring guests, and as always, our commitment to bringing you content that resonates with your experiences and aspirations. Here's to a year filled with more laughter, learning, and lover— lover— loving. Hopefully you have a lover in the new year. Together, let's make 2024 a very memorable journey. I look forward to taking it with you. I have a very exciting week ahead of me with 4 new guests scheduled for me to talk to, and I have so many guests lined up for January. Please don't ever hesitate to let me know your guest suggestions. If you want to be on the podcast, don't be shy. Feel free to reach out to me. If I haven't asked you, it may be that I don't think that you want to do it, or maybe I haven't thought about it. And I've gotten better at asking people. When I first started this wonderful journey, I was very shy about asking people to be on the podcast. So I've gotten better. And, um, I wanna let you know that we have a free Winey Plousa Mom group on Facebook, if you don't know. So come and find us. It's free, it's supportive, it's enriching. I've really enjoyed it. Um, all the women in the group lift me up. We all share, um, challenges, successes, topics. And if there's a topic that you want me to cover, you can always email me at whinybluesamom@gmail.com. Feel free to email me guest suggestions, topic suggestions, comments on blogs and vlogs. I would love for you to keep it positive, but I also always welcome constructive criticism. So I'm also on TikTok, @whiningplusemom on TikTok and Instagram and Facebook. One of my TikTok viewers was like, maybe you want to work on your camera work because my TikTok was a little wobbly. So see, I welcome constructive feedback, so I'm working on that. What else do I wanna tell you? I would love for you to rate, review, and subscribe to my podcast. And for those of you who don't know, when you do stuff like that, then the podcast world is reinforced to send it out to more mothers like us, and we can help more mothers, which is always my goal. I want us all to know that we are never alone, that there is always someone else who's probably going through the same thing as you. I so wish I had this podcast back when my kids were little, but I'm enjoying it now and I'm glad I'm here now with you. This is such a blessing. I'm so thankful. I'm looking forward to sharing so much more content with you in 2000. What year are we going into? I don't even know. 2024. Let's see how many times we screw it up in the next month. Everyone, we are here. We are in 2024. Let's make it a fabulous year. Please don't sit around and wait. For things to come to you. If I can leave you with anything, I want to leave you with going after what you want. And we can probably have most of what we want. We just have to go after it. We have to know that we want it. We have to spell it out to ourselves, write it down, think about it, make a plan, go after it. I'm right behind you. I want to support you in your journey to get everything that you want. And for me, you know, my year of 2023 was grace, if you didn't know that. And I really, really worked at giving myself grace, giving everyone else around me more grace, because if I'm super hard on myself, that's not good for me and it's not good for everybody around me because I'm also gonna be hard on everybody else around me. So I'm thinking about what I want my year of 20— 24 to be. I'm thinking maybe I want it to be health. And I'm not just talking about physical health. I'm talking about mental health, emotional health, and really focusing on— I think that as mothers, we get really lost in taking care of everyone else around us. I love to take care of people. I love to help people. It brings me so much joy. And I just want to remember myself. And I want you all to remember yourself. And I want to do things like meditate more, and I will make more of a plan for myself. I want to exercise more. I want to journal more. I want to really make sure that I'm taking care of myself, and I'm going to still take care of my kids and my husband and my friends and my parents and everyone else in my life. I still, you know, want to take care of others and help others, but I want to always remember myself in the equation. So I hope that you hear that because I know I'm not alone in needing to remember myself. And I want to sincerely again thank you for this wonderful year. It's been such a pleasure serving you and bringing you the best content that I can bring to you. I really work hard at this podcast because it means a lot to me to help others, and I'm help— I'm helping as many women and some men and whoever's listening, whether it's a mother, a grandmother, an aunt, a father, an uncle, whoever's listening, I'm doing my best to bring some love, laughter, learning, insights into your life. So I will continue to work hard at this because I really love it. And happy New Year. Please go out and make this the best New Year ever. This is Rebecca Green reminding everyone to spend every day laughing, learning, and loving. Thank you for tuning in to the Winey Palooza podcast.
