NAD+ Get the good stuff for your starving mitochondria - here’s how!

Rebecca Ferguson compares NAD+ to other mitochondrial supplements like CoQ10 and NMN, arguing it's most effective for fatigue and brain fog. She details her experience with different delivery methods—injections, sublingual, nasal spray—and warns against high-dose IV treatments that cause headaches and nausea. She recommends daily micro-dosing for long COVID, Lyme disease, and aging.

We no longer have hanger or late night snack attacks. So if you need something for mitochondria, and this would be if you're feeling any type of fatigue. Hey everyone, I'm Rebecca and I was recently watching a YouTube video that said that we should have more conversational type of videos where it's just you and I going for a walk and that's what we're going to do today. So we've been talking on our channel a lot lately about peptides and, and we love them, you know, that for everything from treating inflammation to bacteria to calming the nervous system. But one thing that we haven't talked a lot about and we don't want to forget about is mitochondria. And someone asked me recently what do we do to support the mitochondria. I wrote a blog post years ago about pqq and you know, it has its place. It's better than CoQ10, but 5, far better than PQQ is NAD plus. We have experience with all the different versions of it, but we like the nasal spray the best. And I will talk about the different options in this video and also in the blog post and I want to show you real quick the pricing because it lasts us about six months. So it's a pretty good deal actually. And you can screenshot this. NAD is the best thing we've ever found for mitochondria. And it's also better than the precursors like Tru Niagen, which is NR or nmn. Those will be mentioned in the blog post as well. But they didn't do a whole lot for me. But when I tried NAD plus, I first started with the injections and I got huge amounts of energy. I was, I was so happy. It led me to think I'm actually potentially going to recover from this long Covid thing. And it's, I guess what led to me discovering peptides and all of us being here together. So you need something for mitochondria and this would be if you're feeling any type of fatigue in your brain or your body. The mitochondria are critical to be nourished. And all kinds of things can deplete our mitochondria. Any type of virus or underlying infection, Lyme disease, aging, there's just all, all the things that generally make you unwell can obviously deplete your mitochondria. And I wish I had found this my whole life, right? At least when I turned 40. My daughter, it helps her significantly with cognition especially and just fatigue. She can get a general sense of just like, like her cells need some energy and it helps her with staying focused. And there's some studies out there about it helping with autism. So I'll put those in the blog post and you can just take a look. It is great. I can't say enough good things about it. So as I mentioned, we no longer have hanger or late night snack attack. Now how do we take it? I used to use micro sized home injections. However, recently when testing it out for someone else, I discovered that my daughter's nasal spray used sublingually under my tongue gave gave me the exact same results. So for now I'm going to stick with that. I mean there's no need to inject if you don't need to. Right? And so I will put on the blog post all of the options. There will be injections or sublingual or nasal spray. And with sublingual you could do capsules or liquid. And of course you know me, I love to do microdoses of everything. So. So I do a very small amount. I'll put everything about the amount that I take and where we got it from on the blog post. There's a coupon code too that I'll put in the description. And this is not a sponsored video by the way. This is just purely about my deep adoration for all things NAD plus. And also nasal spray works really well, just not quite as potent. Like the results don't last quite as long, but the whole day I would say. And it also depends. I mean you could probably do two nasal sprays, but I like to do things gentle and less at a time. I'd rather take and then just tiny, teeny tiny every day or every other day than taking once a week. But that's just me. You can choose to take more. The issue is when you take too much push the limit you can have. You could call them side effects and it's kind of like you feel sort of warm flush, like your cells are just energized. So like kind of warm. Some people feel nauseous or you could feel I had some minor leg cramps and then that's how I would always know, like oh, I don't need any, you know, the next day. So you just, you learn. But I would not do IV in a clinic or something because the doses that they do are just huge and you hear people complaining about headaches and nausea and vom. That is a totally different thing. So please understand that and know that it's not the same thing. And you're going to have way better results if you just do it at home. Guessing that a lot of you will probably be more interested in the nasal spray. Obviously, it's easier to use and it's great. There's nothing wrong with ordering the nasal spray. It's kind of like these peptides where we. So many people think that the injections are better. They're not always better. They really aren't. Like, there's the oral peptides are so great. The nasal sprays are so great. So I just don't think that we always need to be doing injections of everything just because someone did an injection and said that that was the best way. It's been really fun walking with you today. I'm glad that we're friends and I'm looking forward to maybe more walks. We'll see. I'm gonna have to see in the editing how this video goes. If it's too bumpy, too much road noise, I don't know. I have no idea what this is going to turn out like, but I see other people on YouTube doing these walk and talks and I'm jealous of them because it seems so easy, right? Like you just walk and talk and then put the video up so we'll see how easy it actually is. So now I'm going to walk a little faster because I've been walking kind of slow to try to make it not bouncy, and I don't think it even mattered. But thanks for being here and please check out the blog post. I'll put the link in the description. It's going to have all kinds of more information such as what it does, who it's best for, and everything about how much nasal spray that we use. And so that's all. So that's the mitochondria. So that can kind of like round out you. You can use peptides, but the peptide that is for mitochondria is MOT C. But I don't know. I read about it and I just don't think it's for us. You can read about it, but you don't want to stimulate your mitochondria all the time. You don't want to use too many things for mitochondria is what I'm trying to say. So that's it from me. I hope you have a wonderful day, whatever you're doing. Well, of course you're on this walk with me, so I hope you have a safe trip back home and I will see you later. Bye.
