Here's the honest truth about emailing college coaches from a former D1 coach, scout, and recruiter who's received thousands and thousands of emails. Which ones stood out, right? And there's really 3 things that you should focus on. Number 1 is your subject line. It is the most important thing of your email because it's the first thing that college coaches see. Does it stand out? Do not put your name, okay? Because your name doesn't stand out at this point, plus it's in the from section. Your name's in the from section, all right? So you need to have your top metrics, top stats, Top grades, top physicality, a mixture of all those things. Whatever's top for you, have that in your subject line. And then in parentheses, have video, all right? I'm gonna get to that here in a second. Then when they open up your email, make sure that it's very easy to read, it's readable. Bullet points and things like this. This is gonna ruffle some feathers. Nobody cares about personalization right now, all right? They need and want to see what can you do for them? What qualities do you have an athlete for them to continue down to look for you. They don't really care about your whole life story to this point, alright? And I don't mean that in a negative way, it's just the truth, alright? They're looking at you as an athlete. Can you come and help my team win? And then number 3, you gotta have video, alright? You gotta prove what you are saying so they can analyze that. Good luck.
