Short YouTube coaching clip by Alex Swenson (with another speaker) giving three quick tips to improve baseball hitting: (1) avoid overthinking mechanics—seek loose rhythm and avoid stiffness; (2) be on time for the fastball and ready; (3) use visualization (imagine hitting doubles into the gaps). The piece is instructional and aimed at high-school/club hitters.

Hey, we're going to improve your hitting right now. Three things. Stop thinking about your mechanics in the box.
I used to do this. A lot of people do this.
Think about their foot, they think about their hips, their.
Hands, where their head's going to be, their eyes.
All these certain things. That just creates stiffness. Stiffness is never good. You want to find rhythm in your swing, a rhythm in your setup which you're going to create looseness. Looseness creates whippiness. Whippiness is very good with hitting. And stop thinking.
About the outcome.
Right? If you have the mindset of like, I have to get a hit or what if I fail here? Creates stiffness, creates anxiety, creates stress, which again, creates all stiffness.
Number two, be on time with the fastball and be ready.
For the fastball.
Too many people are out there, are.
Late on the fastball.
Be on.
Time and.
Crush that fastball.
Number three, last one. Visualize your success. Visualize yourself hitting that double in the gap. Visualize yourself.
Hitting oppo.
Double in the right center gap or the left center gap if you're a lefty. All right? Improve on your hitting right now.
