Alex Swenson, a former college pitching coach and recruiting coordinator, introduces the "Breakthrough Pitcher" course aimed at high school pitchers. He summarizes course content (skills and measurables recruiters value: velocity, mechanics, command), mental training, strength/conditioning, and video analysis; he notes limited enrollment (closing Friday) and offers direct access and email contact for questions.

Hey, how you doing? Alex Swenson here and I'm super excited to be launching Breakthrough Picture here today and I'm super excited that you are interested in this course and for you all that parents or athletes that don't know who I am, my name is Alex Swinson, been a recruiting coordinator and coach in the SEC at Ole Miss, at a high academic school in Georgetown and mid major in Jacksonville University where located at here in Florida. So through that process as a recruiter and coach, I found that not a lot of athletes exactly know what recruiters are looking for or what they should be working on, specifically pitchers because I was a pitching coach in college as long as the recruiter. And so in this core, in this course, excuse me, we're going to be going over the skills and measurables that actually recruiters are looking for and at the pitching position but as well how to improve those skills. Okay. Not just physically, but mentally as well. So there's going to be things that we cover velocity and how to improve your velocity, how to improve your mechanics, how to improve your command. And we're going to be doing this through video analysis as well through some college players to some of the best in the world up in the major leagues. Okay. We're going to be talking about the mental game that I mentioned, the mindset. We're going to be talking about weights and conditioning. Okay. I'm certified in strength and conditioning so I'm going to be talking about that as well and among a lot of other things and to help you through this recruiting process as a pitcher. Okay. As you've probably seen in the email, I'm going to be shutting it down on Friday and the reason why I do that is to give my main focus to the students that are taking the course. Okay. So you will have full access to me, but if you have any questions at all, please email me right now or throughout the week. I'll be emailing you, as I said, throughout this week to give you more insight on this course. I hope you guys enjoy it and I'll see you in the course. Take care.
