The 2025 Division 1 baseball recruiting calendar is out, and we are about to enter the contact period, which is an important period for high school recruiting. And I know there's a lot of questions about what do these periods really mean? When should I start the recruiting process? Let me talk about that real quick. So the starting point, you might think, am I too early or am I too late? Sophomore year is a good time to get the ball rolling because college coaches can come watch you play. They can look at video. We can get a lot of communication in front of them because they can read emails. Now, they can't offer you until that August 1st date, but they're going to do a lot of homework prior to that. And then the contact period, which we're about to enter, means that they can come watch your high school team and games. They can come watch you in summer ball or camps or showcases. So this is a very important time. That's no matter the year. Now, communication, there's some rules around that. But they can come watch you play. And so when they're ready to move, they can go, all right, so get out there, start the process early. The data is clear. Start earlier than later.
